    Abstract:

Fungal infections (mycoses) have been on the rise and fungal pathogens have gradually developed drug resistance amid the long-term use of conventional antifungal drugs such as fluconazole. Chinese medicine is superior in anti-fungal infection. Our research group has been carrying out systematic and in-depth research on the in vivo and in vitro effects and mechanisms of antifungal Chinese medicine with the support of a number of national and provincial projects. Therefore, on the basis of the latest research outcomes in Chinese medicine’s anti-fungal infection of our research group and others in China and abroad, we summarize the research on Chinese medicine combating fungi (mainly Candida albicans) in the past five years.
